In a recent post about the Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G, Google accidentally uploaded a photo taken by the Pixel 5a. The EXIF data of the photo revealed somewhat about the "genuine" camera part of the device.

Accordingly, one of the photos has EXIF data showing it was taken by Pixel 5a, on October 1, 2020 in Taiwan. Specifically, the Pixel 5a's f / 2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera captured the scene of the neighborhood near where the device was developed.

It is not clear whether the above was caused by mistake or intentional, but currently the photo has been removed from the Google post.

The move above makes us more certain that the Pixel 5a 5G will be released soon. Not long ago, Google had to dismiss rumors that the Pixel 5a 5G didn't exist or that the development of this model was completely stopped.

The Pixel 5a is said to use the Snapdragon 765G chip, which offers 5G support and a host of other great features including a significantly improved camera department. In addition, the device is expected to feature a 6.2-inch Full HD + screen and a refresh rate similar to the Pixel 4a 5G version.
